You do not need to visit the Jobcenter in person to apply for citizen's allowance. If you live in the district of Ansbach, you can apply for the benefit via this online service. This also applies to applications for one-off benefits, in particular for the purchase of heating materials and additional payments for operating costs.
After submitting your application, you will receive a call back from the Jobcenter within a few days for an initial consultation. During the initial telephone consultation, it will be clarified whether you meet the eligibility requirements and whether there are any priority claims. The necessary application forms will then be sent to you by post.
Please note that priority claims must always be asserted and, if necessary, enforced due to the subordination principle of Jobcenter benefits.
