If hazardous waste is generated for disposal and/or recovery and the total annual waste quantity of all hazardous waste is at least 2 tons, waste producers who are obliged to provide evidence in accordance with the Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act (KrWG) require a waste producer number. The waste producer number must be applied for in good time before the start of construction work or disposal.
