Description
Vicinity maps are available for the whole of Bavaria and are published at a scale of 1:50,000.
As an extension to the topographical maps, they depict geographically contiguous regions or regions of tourist interest with additional leisure information:
- hiking and cycling trails signposted in the countryside
- Leisure and tourist information such as bathing facilities, campsites, places of interest and
- the UTM coordinate grid for GPS users
