The Free State of Bavaria supports the development of mobile geriatric rehabilitation in Bavaria.

With regard to the consistent implementation of the principles "outpatient before inpatient" and "rehabilitation before care", support for the development of mobile geriatric rehabilitation in Bavaria is intended to contribute to ensuring needs-based provision of outpatient medical rehabilitation services.
Funding is provided for the initial phase of interdisciplinary teams for the provision of mobile geriatric rehabilitation services (MoGeRe teams).
MoGeRe teams that have been offered the prospect of a care contract by the Association of Health Insurance Associations in Bavaria (ARGE) or with which the ARGE has concluded a care contract are eligible to apply.
Funding can be provided for expenses that are necessarily incurred in the initial phase of a MoGeRe team and are not reimbursed by the supply contract with the ARGE.

The initial phase begins at the earliest from the date of the written prospect of the supply contract by the ARGE. The initial phase ends no later than 12 months after conclusion of the contract. The maximum funding period in the initial phase is 12 months.
