Home schooling is provided if the pupil is unable to attend lessons at school due to prolonged illness or placement in a youth welfare facility that deprives them of their liberty. A decision on the provision of home schooling must be made before applying for reimbursement of costs for additional work.
The respective application for the settlement of overtime is signed by the head teacher or school authority to confirm the information and then forwarded to the government or the State Office of Finance.
The overtime of teaching staff employed by the school authority at private schools is calculated by the government. The government also pays the reimbursement of costs.
In the case of state teaching staff at private schools, the government determines that overtime has been worked for home schooling; the reimbursement of costs is paid by the State Office of Finance.
Home schooling can be provided for pupils who are unable to attend school for health reasons or who are placed in youth welfare facilities on the basis of an official order depriving them of their liberty.
