Procedure details

For the temporary and occasional exercise of the profession of "State-certified food chemist" and "State-certified food chemist" as a service provider, nationals of a Member State of the European Union receive the following certificates from the Government of Upper Bavaria upon application:

  • Certificate of residence and lawful exercise of the profession in the country of establishment
  • Certificate of professional qualification
  • Certificate that no professional disciplinary or criminal sanctions have been imposed.

  • Proof of citizenship
    in certified copy and translation by a translator publicly appointed and sworn in the Federal Republic of Germany
  • Evidence of formal qualifications (diploma, certificate, evidence of completion of studies, other evidence of formal qualifications) and professional experience

    If the objection has no suspensive effect, an application for suspension of enforcement can be made to the original authority or the objection authority in accordance with Section 80 (4) VwGO.
