If you would like a duplicate of an airworthiness certificate, a registration certificate or a noise protection certificate, you can apply for these documents at the Federal Aviation Office (LBA).
This form can be submitted electronically without signature (e.g. via a secure contact form or by e-mail) or in paper form to the responsible authority.

To apply for a duplicate, you need a legitimate reason such as theft or loss. There may also be other legitimate reasons.
You can apply for duplicates as the owner or as a representative for them.

The validity of duplicates (airworthiness certificate, registration certificate, noise protection certificate) is unlimited.
The processing time may vary in individual cases. You can ask the Federal Aviation Office for the current status.
There are no indications or special features.
