Bavarian schools can apply for a pro-rata reimbursement of travel costs for trips to the Bavarian concentration camp memorials and the German-German Museum via the Bavarian State Center for Political Education.
This form can be submitted electronically (e.g. via a secure contact form using your user account with login via the electronic ID function or the ELSTER certificate) or handwritten and signed in paper form to the responsible authority.
The Bavarian State Agency for Civic Education supports class trips to the Bavarian Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial / Flossenbürg Concentration Camp Memorial and the German-German Museum in Mödlareuth on the basis of a decision by the Bavarian State Parliament.
The amount is EUR 1.50 per distance kilometer per 60 participating pupils or part thereof, up to a maximum of the actual travel costs incurred. Reimbursements from other public bodies must be taken into account.
When visiting the Dachau and Flossenbürg memorials, the reimbursement of travel costs is based on the distance in kilometers to the nearest memorial. This does not apply to events lasting several days at the Dachau Youth Hostel.
In the case of trips lasting several days, e.g. as part of school trips or school trips, only the distance from the place of stay to the respective memorial site or to the Mödlareuth Museum will be taken into account. This does not apply to
