Teachers can register for the Bavarian State Center for Political Education's parliamentary seminar and take a look behind the scenes of the Bavarian State Parliament.
Three times a year, interested teachers from all types of schools have the opportunity to find out about the work of parliament directly in the Bavarian State Parliament. Each seminar deals with a key political topic and offers numerous opportunities for personal contact with MPs from all parliamentary groups.
Teachers spend three days in the Bavarian State Parliament to get to know the workings of parliament and the parliamentary administration. For example, they attend a committee meeting and find out about the state parliament's press work. Meetings and discussions with MPs from all parliamentary groups on the main topic and education policy issues are the focus of the program.
In addition, employees from the Ministry of Education and the ISB are available for discussions. The program will be rounded off with a standing reception where the contacts made can be deepened in informal discussions. The seminars will take place in the Bavarian State Parliament, Maximilianeum, 81627 Munich. Teachers from outside Munich will be accommodated in hotels.
All teachers at Bavarian schools can apply for this training program. If more than 25 applications are received, preference will be given to teachers who teach political education.
