Even if you have received a settlement in the course of remarriage, you can again receive a survivor's pension from the statutory accident insurance upon application and under certain conditions.
The employers' liability insurance associations and accident insurance funds will pay you a survivor's pension. The prerequisite for this is that you were married until the death of the insured person. The same applies to registered civil partnerships.
