Description
The best companies are created where the environment promotes their development. This requires more than general locational advantages such as good infrastructure, a strong economic landscape or a high level of education. This is why, with the support of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, a network of business incubators has long been established in all regions of Bavaria, providing company founders with a comprehensive range of services and excellent framework conditions. The support provided by the business incubators ranges from office and storage space at low rents and shared office equipment to advice and assistance in dealing with authorities and financiers, as well as specialist events and networking events.
The Bavarian technology and start-up centers, which have also joined forces via ARGE-TGZ Bayern, help young companies with concrete support ranging from business know-how and affordable rental space to capital procurement.
Digital and technology-oriented start-up centers are specifically aimed at start-ups in the high-tech sector, whereas the general start-up centers are aimed at all start-ups regardless of their sectoral focus. The centers themselves are mainly supported by public shareholders and receive financial support from them.
