The Bavarian business school is unique in Germany:
In addition to a sound general education, the business school also provides an in-depth, comprehensive entrepreneurial education. It qualifies students for a successful career in business and administration and also teaches useful everyday skills. In accordance with Art. 14 of the Bavarian Education and Teaching Act, it is a vocational school (Berufsfachschule).
With the CurriculumPLUS concept at the business school, students acquire not only subject-specific qualifications but also skills that enable them to work independently and autonomously while still at school, as is also required in the context of vocational training and later professional activity.
The profile subjects Digital Education, Practice Enterprise and Business Management and Control form the core of the application-oriented and practical business education at the business school and prepare students effectively and purposefully for their future working life. The students deal with complex business problems. They use tried and tested software packages from business practice. This trains a holistic view and promotes entrepreneurial thinking.
The mathematical and scientific curriculum content facilitates access to technical professions and increases the chances of obtaining further school qualifications, e.g. at a technical college.
Students can choose to take a final examination in mathematics or in the subject of practical enterprise. This takes into account the different professional and academic perspectives of business students.
The transfer procedure from elementary school to secondary school should ensure that every pupil attends the secondary school that best suits their individual abilities.
