Through offers for support in everyday life, there is an additional range of services for people in need of care at home from care level 1. Up to 125 euros per month can be used as a standardized relief amount for quality-assured care and relief services. The aim is to relieve the person in need of care themselves in their everyday life as well as caregiving relatives and similarly close persons from the burden of care and the associated physical and emotional stress.
The purpose of the funding is to promote the development and expansion of services to provide support in everyday life. In particular, this is intended to create appropriate care and respite services as well as participation opportunities for those in need of care and opportunities to relieve the burden on family caregivers and similarly close relatives.
Applications may be submitted by providers of recognized support services for everyday life.
Funding is primarily provided for personnel and material costs arising from the coordination and organization of assistance and professional guidance, training and further training as well as continuous professional supervision and support by specialists, as well as allowances for volunteer care.
