Procedure details

Purpose

The Continuing Education Initiators (WBI) offer all employees and companies throughout Bavaria free advice on the subject of continuing vocational training. In doing so, they point out tailor-made further training offers and funding opportunities and provide support in selecting these. The WBIs also draw up individual further training concepts and, if desired, accompany the implementation of the measures. The WBIs are managed by a central coordination office (WBI-K). The aim of the funding is to increase the willingness to undertake further training in Bavaria, which is necessary due to the changing world of work, demographic change and the need for skilled workers. In addition, further vocational training maintains and increases the employability of employees and the competitiveness of the economy.

Object

To promote the advisory activities of the WBI and a coordination office (WBI-K).

The advisory activities are to be concentrated locally in one of the seven Bavarian administrative districts, with the aim of covering the whole of Bavaria. Several WBIs can share responsibility for one administrative district among themselves.
