Pre-school facilities aim to support children from pre-school age according to their special educational needs and prepare them for school attendance if they do not receive the necessary support in other facilities.
Preparatory school facilities (SVE) are organizationally affiliated to the special schools. In each case, the SVE at a special school that offers the corresponding special focus is responsible. Following the SVE, the child can be enrolled at the elementary school or a corresponding support facility.
Pupils with special educational needs receive targeted support in the context of education and lessons or in remedial lessons in order to compensate for developmental delays or other obstacles.
