An overview of commercial activities that are classified as "high-risk specialized commercial flight operations" in Germany can be found under "Related links".

The submission of a declaration of specialized flight operations in accordance with ORO.DEC.100 of Regulation (EU) No. 965/2012 is required (see "Related topics").

The application must be submitted to the competent aviation authority as the responsible licensing authority if you have your place of residence or business in Bavaria and the flight operations are carried out with aircraft other than technically complex aircraft (Def.: Art. 3 letter j of Regulation (EC) No. 216/2008) and exclusively according to visual flight rules. Otherwise, the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt is the competent authority.
