The purpose of the subsidy is to enable the residents of housing subsidized under the income-oriented subsidy (EOF) to cover the ongoing rental costs with their available income for the duration of the occupancy commitment.
The additional subsidy ensures that the residents of housing subsidized under the income-oriented subsidy scheme (EOF) are able to meet the current rent burden with the income available to them for the duration of the occupancy commitment.
The rental costs are subsidized.
The funding is granted as a subsidy.
The additional funding is provided as a grant without legal entitlement and within the scope of the available budget funds. The additional funding is calculated on the basis of the difference between the maximum permissible rent and the reasonable rent. This amount remains unchanged for the commitment period. The calculation of the additional monthly subsidy is based on the living space determined by the granting authority.
The applicant must live in an apartment that was subsidized under the income-oriented subsidy (EOF) and is subject to a social commitment.
The additional subsidy is based on the total income of the respective household (see Art. 5 BayWoFG) and its allocation to income brackets.
Beneficiaries are tenants.
