German courses for asylum seekers; application for financial support for volunteer course instructors

With the project "Language creates opportunities - Voluntary language support for asylum seekers", the Free State of Bavaria provides financial support for volunteer teachers of German courses for asylum seekers.

This form can be submitted electronically (e.g. via a secure contact form using your user account with login via the electronic ID function or the ELSTER certificate) or handwritten and signed in paper form to the responsible authority.

Object and amount

Volunteer instructors of German courses for asylum seekers can apply to the Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft der Freiwilligen-Agenturen / Freiwilligen-Zentren / Koordinierungszentren in Bayern e.V. for financial support in the form of a lump sum for material costs of 200 euros or 500 euros.

Furthermore, lump sums for material costs of 100 euros can be applied for in the context of language sponsorships.

Applicants

Charities, parishes, associations, local authorities and private individuals can apply for financial support.

Requirements for lump sum for material costs:

Volunteer course leader;
at least 4 or 2 - 3 participants (proof by means of a list of participants in the first three lessons);
at least 50 teaching units (45 minutes each)
Course duration of at least 3 months
at least 2 teaching units per week.

The application form must be submitted together with the list of participants to the Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft der Freiwilligen-Agenturen / Freiwilligen-Zentren / Koordinierungszentren in Bayern (lagfa Bayern e.V.), which will also decide on the application.
