If you stay or work abroad for a longer period of time, this may affect your German social insurance. You must report any change in your situation to the Künstlersozialkasse in good time.

You are insured under the German social security system if you have your place of residence and place of work within the Federal Republic of Germany.
If you move your place of residence or activity abroad, the Künstlersozialkasse (KSK) must check your insurance.
To ensure that your insurance coverage is guaranteed and that you can take out additional foreign insurance if necessary, you should clarify this issue before you move or work abroad if possible.
You must currently be subject to compulsory insurance via the KSK or eligible for subsidies and have moved your place of residence and/or work abroad.
There are no costs for you. If you plan to stay or work abroad for a longer period of time, notify the KSK of the period of time and the reason for your stay abroad.
