The erection and use of temporary structures requiring a permit must be reported.
Temporary structures are structures that are suitable and intended to be repeatedly erected and dismantled at different locations. Temporary structures include, for example, grandstands, stages with or without canopies, advertising towers, tents of all kinds, air structures, rides (from swing boats to Ferris wheels), amusement rides, amusement and sales stores, catering facilities, etc. Construction site facilities and installations in amusement parks are not temporary structures.
The building supervisory authority must be notified at least one week in advance of the intended erection of temporary structures requiring approval, together with the inspection log book, unless this is not required under the construction permit.

Temporary structures requiring a permit may only be erected and put into use if a building permit has been issued before they are erected or put into use for the first time.
Construction permits issued by other states of the Federal Republic of Germany are also valid in the Free State of Bavaria.
