The Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs supports courses for young people and people in employment to prepare for successfully completing secondary school (also part-time).
Young people without school-leaving qualifications and people in employment with no or only low qualifications have very few opportunities on the job or apprenticeship market. The Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs provides state funding to the adult education providers (BaybFöG) of state-funded state organizations and adult education providers at state level in Bavaria, which run the courses to prepare for the successful completion of secondary school themselves and their member institutions.
The aim of the courses is to enable students to successfully complete secondary school.
Funding is available to adult education providers of state-funded state organizations and adult education providers at state level in Bavaria and their member institutions.
The grant is awarded as project funding in the form of lump-sum fixed-amount funding.
A minimum own contribution of 10% is required.
The application for funding must be submitted to the government of Lower Bavaria together with the required documents.
The Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs determines the basic funding and the amount of funding.
The handling of this funding measure (application procedure, approval procedure, verification of use, disbursement of funding) is carried out by the government of Lower Bavaria.
The Free State of Bavaria supports adult education providers with the aim of ensuring that efficient facilities with a wide range of educational opportunities are available throughout the state.
