In cooperation with the federal government, the Free State of Bavaria promotes the creation and maintenance of housing for trainees.

The purpose of the grant is to create and maintain accommodation for trainees in a state-recognized training occupation and students at vocational, technical and master craftsman schools and technical academies who are completing their training in Bavaria.
The object of the funding is
The subsidy is granted as a credit/loan.
Funding is provided in the form of a non-performing building loan of up to EUR 45,000 per single room and up to EUR 26,000 per double room with a 25-year commitment. The grant can be increased by up to EUR 15,000 per residence for wheelchair-accessible apartments.
The construction loan can also be increased for eligible expenses for the construction of necessary elevated or underground parking garages, for concept-related structural measures arising from requirements from the operating license, for extraordinary project-related additional costs and additional costs for increased planning effort, for particularly sustainable ecological measures and for competitive procedures for the awarding of planning services, such as architectural competitions.
Prerequisite for the promotion of housing for trainees:
Beneficiaries are property owners, leaseholders or purchasers. And in particular non-profit organizations, non-profit welfare organizations and youth welfare organizations, vocational training providers, associations of professional and trade associations, municipal companies and municipalities.
Exclusion criteria:
Measures that have been started without the approval of the granting authority will not be funded.
The application for funding must be submitted to the responsible approval office (the government, the city of Munich, Nuremberg or Augsburg).

There are no costs.
Administrative court action
If you find yourself in a financial emergency situation during your training, you can receive a loan or grant from the Jobcenter under certain conditions.
If you do not live with your parents during your training, you can apply for vocational training allowance to cover your living expenses.
