If your clothing wears out after an accident at work, a commuting accident or due to an occupational disease because you wear a prosthesis, for example, you will receive compensation under certain conditions.
In the event of exceptional wear and tear on clothing and underwear caused by the wearing and use of assistive devices as a result of a recognized occupational accident or commuting accident or a recognized occupational disease, your employers' liability insurance association or accident insurance fund will pay compensation.
You will receive the compensation as a monthly lump sum. This is a minimum amount for which you do not have to submit any receipts (for example, invoices). An application is not necessary. Your accident insurance institution will check your claim ex officio, i.e. without you having to do anything.
If you have higher costs than the lump sum covers, you can submit corresponding receipts to your employers' liability insurance association or accident insurance fund without submitting an application.
The amount of compensation is regulated by law. The monthly lump sums are re-determined annually on 01.07. by the law for the adjustment of the benefits of the Federal Supply Law.
There are no costs involved.
There is no deadline.
