The SME Pact section introduces you to the partners of the SME Pact. These include chambers, associations and other organizations such as the Bayerische Beteiligungsgesellschaft. You will also find an overview of the SME awards . They range from the Training Ace to BAYERNS BEST 50 and Successful. Family-friendly through to the Innovation Award.
The portal also provides information on financing options. In the loans section, for example, you can read interesting facts about bank discussions, ratings and credit alternatives such as leasing or mezzanine. You will also find tips on improving your equity base, such as information on equity capital. Various funding offers are also presented. These include advisory services, guarantees and regional funding.
In the structural change section, you can find out what support the Free State of Bavaria offers SMEs to overcome current challenges, which are primarily due to digitalization, demographic developments, climate change and changing global competitive conditions. The measures range from the expansion of non-university research infrastructure and the promotion of networks and clusters to the promotion of company R&D projects as well as founders and start-ups. With measures such as the Digitalbonus or Handwerk Innovativ, the state government supports small and medium-sized enterprises in recognizing the potential of digitalization for themselves, establishing new production processes and identifying corresponding business models. It also supports entrepreneurial commitment in the areas of energy and climate. The measures range from the expansion of clean, renewable energies with high added value and local acceptance to the promotion of innovative technologies. The package of measures for SMEs is extensive and ranges from advisory services and (research) funding to networking activities.
The recruitment of skilled workers and company succession are also of great importance for SMEs. The Free State of Bavaria supports SMEs in recruiting skilled workers together with industry players through numerous regional and sector-specific initiatives. The generational change in companies is accompanied by numerous funding programs and support measures from the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, the chambers and other institutions. The portal offers further links and downloads as well as background information on these future challenges.
An additional information focus is on internationalization, as foreign trade and the establishment of companies from Germany and abroad are among the most important success factors for growth, prosperity and jobs in Bavaria. To enable SMEs to get to know international markets, the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs organizes business trips and enables companies to participate in foreign trade fairs via the Bavarian Trade Fair Participation Programme.
