The "Where's Goldi? - Surfing the net safely" app shows children aged eight to ten how to use digital media on the internet safely in a fun way. Children can learn about the potential dangers of digital media, such as cyberbullying or fake news.
At first glance, it looks like a normal elementary school - but there's actually a lot going on here: dangers from the digital world are causing trouble and chaos.

"Where's Goldi? - Surfing the net safely" is an episodic educational game for children aged 8 to 10.
The individual stories deal with different aspects of competent use of digital services. In the role of a schoolchild, gamers can get to the bottom of the digital challenges on the net in a playful way. Puzzles have to be solved, secrets revealed and conflicts resolved.
The episodes are:
- Chapter 0 "Instructions"
- Chapter 1 "Where is Goldi?"
- Chapter 2 "The test of courage"
- Chapter 3 "Stolen glory"
- Chapter 4: "The class representative election"
- Chapter 5: "The new online friend"
Among other things, social skills are trained. Knowledge about the digital world is conveyed through game stories, dialogs and informative posters. In the various chapters, the problems that can arise in children's lives through the incorrect use of digital media and how these can be avoided are shown in an appealing way.
"Wo ist Goldi? - Sicher Surfen Netz" was developed on behalf of the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs. It was developed by the educational game experts at Wegesrand GmbH & Co KG in collaboration with the JFF Institute for Media Education.
Game saves can be stored locally on the device. It can be played without an internet connection.
