Would you like to operate an unmanned aircraft (UAS) across borders under standard scenarios in the "special" operating category? Then please submit your existing operating declaration and the confirmation of receipt and completeness to the Federal Office of Civil Aviation.
Are you registered as an operator of unmanned aircraft (UAS) in an EASA member state other than Germany and would like to operate a UAS under standard scenarios in the "special" operating category in Germany? Then please submit your existing operating declaration and the confirmation of receipt and completeness to the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA).
The declaration of operation is the form that you have submitted to your national aviation authority in order to be allowed to operate UAS in your country.
However, if you have the Light Unmanned Aircraft Operator Certificate (LUC) including permission to add a new operating area independently, you only need to submit your LUC with the scope of approval.
EASA, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, establishes and monitors uniform safety and environmental standards for civil aviation at European level. Further information and a list of member states can be found on the EASA website.

The application process is completed upon receipt of your company declaration. There is therefore no processing time.
There are no indications or special features.
