Purpose
Integration into training and work is a central element of successful integration and is one of the core objectives of Bavarian integration policy.
Object
Funding is provided for the employment of skilled workers to support the integration of the target group into training and work.
Recipients of funding
Recipients of funding (eligible to apply) are any legally responsible organization that has carried out appropriate measures for qualification and employment promotion over a longer period of time. This may also include local authorities. Job centers according to § 6a SGB II (Social Code - Second Book) and § 44b SGB II are excluded from funding.
Eligible expenditure
Project-related personnel and material expenses are eligible for funding. Only the personnel expenses of training acquisition officers for refugees or job mentors count as personnel expenses. Material expenditure may not exceed 15% of the eligible personnel expenditure.
Amount
The grant covers up to 90% of the eligible expenditure. The grant recipient must provide an appropriate own contribution of at least 10% of the total eligible expenditure. Expenditure not eligible for funding must be covered by own or third-party funds. These may neither be added to the expenditure of the measure nor included in the own funds to be provided for in the financing plan. Personal contributions cannot replace own funds.
Funding is provided without legal entitlement within the scope of available budget funds.
The training acquisition officers for refugees and job mentors must be professionally qualified. The qualification requirements can be found in detail in the funding guidelines. In addition, care must be taken to ensure that a demand-oriented supply structure is achieved throughout Bavaria.
Application
The application must be submitted to the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior, Sport and Integration together with the necessary current labor market policy statements from the local employment agencies in coordination with the job centers and, in the case of the initial application, with at least one letter of support.
Approval
The granting authority is the local government.
For further details on how to apply, please refer to the applicable funding guidelines (see "Legal basis").

The approval period is generally three years and is generally valid from January 1 to December 31. Applications are usually submitted four to five months before the start of the project.
We recommend that you contact the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior, Sport and Integration (e-mail: Sachgebiet-G2@stmi.bayern.de) before submitting an application.
