Driving license; application for exceptions concerning the driving license

Exceptions are possible in special individual cases to avoid hardship. The driving license authorities in the district administrative authorities are responsible for granting exceptions relating to the driving license.

The driving license authorities in the district offices and independent cities are also responsible for granting exceptions to the Driving License Ordinance (FeV).

An exception can only be considered if there are exceptional circumstances that represent an unreasonable hardship in the individual case.
