The theoretical examination comprises the subjects of aviation law, human performance, meteorology, communication, the basics of flying, operating procedures, flight performance and flight planning, general aircraft knowledge and navigation. It is deemed to have been passed if 75% of the achievable points are achieved.
In the practical flight test, the applicant must demonstrate during a flight under the supervision of an examiner that he has acquired the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills for the safe operation of the aircraft and can apply these correctly under normal and special conditions.
