Description
Victims of the effects of both world wars can receive a monthly compensation payment (MEZ) in addition to other benefits. This is subject to the condition that the degree of the consequences of the injury (GdS) is at least 25 (= rounded up to 30). The CET is increased by 20% for victims with the most severe consequences of injury.

Monthly compensation payment

Injured parties whose application for benefits was already decided before 01.01.2024 will receive the benefits granted on 31.12.2023 as a fixed monthly cash amount increased by 25%, unless the benefits under the new Social Compensation Act are more favorable for them.
