You can apply for funding for training measures in the areas of disability support and psychiatric care.

The purpose of the promotion is to impart, deepen and further develop specific specialist knowledge of persons working in the fields of disability assistance and psychiatric care.
Funding is provided for further training measures in the fields of disability assistance and psychiatric care. This applies both to face-to-face events and to corresponding e-learning training courses.
Eligible applicants are the umbrella organizations of independent welfare services and their member organizations in Bavaria, as well as associations operating at state level or other professionally recognized associations and other training providers.
Material expenses for the implementation of the training measures, such as room rental, speakers' fees, travel costs and materials, are eligible for funding. For speaker fees, hourly rates of up to a maximum of EUR 50 per training unit (FE = 45 minutes) can be recognized. A higher hourly rate is eligible for funding in individual cases, particularly in the case of self-employed speakers, if special justification for exceeding the maximum hourly rate is provided in the funding application.
The grants are awarded as a fixed amount within the framework of project funding. The recipient of the grant must provide an own contribution as prescribed by budgetary law. A lump sum is granted per training unit, which can amount to a maximum of EUR 50.
Applicants must submit a list of all planned training measures (training program). The concept and objective of each training measure must be specified.
Measures with fewer than eight participants will generally not be funded.
The granting authority for assistance for the disabled is the Zentrum Bayern Familie und Soziales, for psychiatric care the local government. Applications must be submitted to the granting authority.
The granting authorities are also responsible for checking the proof of use, withdrawing or revoking grant notifications and reclaiming grants.
In the area of assistance for the disabled, the approval authority decides on the approval of the grant after receipt of the proof of implementation.
The complete application with the training program must be submitted to the approval authority by 31 October of the year preceding the approval period at the latest. The approval period is the calendar year. Approval for the early start of measures is generally deemed to have been granted once the application has been submitted on time.
Funding is provided without legal entitlement within the scope of available budget funds.
The Free State of Bavaria provides grants for the expenses of psychosocial AIDS counseling centers and for projects to prevent the immunodeficiency disease AIDS. Funding is also provided for further training measures for specialist staff and volunteers in AIDS work.
