The acquisition of a license to fly aircraft requires theoretical and practical training. The training can only be carried out at an approved or declared training organization (flight school) and imparts knowledge and practical skills in aviation law, human performance, meteorology, communication, the basics of flying, operating procedures, flight performance and flight planning, general aircraft knowledge and navigation. The permit is only issued after passing the theoretical and practical examination at the responsible aviation authority.
The licenses for commercial pilots and professional pilots as well as the licenses for air sports equipment (ultralight aircraft, hang gliders, paragliders and parachutists) are not the responsibility of the aviation authorities. The following authorities are responsible here:
