The service regulations and staffing plan of a statutory accident insurance institution require the approval of the competent supervisory authority.
The Executive Board shall draw up service regulations and a staffing plan for employees paid by accident insurance institutions.
The service regulations govern the legal relationships of the employees, in particular the terms and conditions of employment and the consequences of non-fulfilment of duties. The staffing plan regulates the number of employees and the allocation of positions to grades.
The service regulations and the staffing plan require the approval of the Representatives' Meeting and the approval of the supervisory authority. Approval may only be refused if there is good cause, in particular if the number or salary of employees is conspicuously disproportionate to their duties. The same applies to changes to the service regulations.
The Oberversicherungsamt Südbayern is the supervisory authority for the state's direct accident insurance institutions.
