Description
The Bavarian Ministerial Gazette (BayMBl.) is officially published in electronic form on the Bavarian Announcement Platform (VKP). The Bavarian Law and Ordinance Gazette (GVBl.) is made available there for information purposes. The official version of the GVBl. is the print edition. You will also find further documentation of state law as well as official and ministerial gazettes with publication dates between 2009 and 2018 on the platform.
All editions of the GVBl. and BayMBl. as well as official and ministerial gazettes with publication dates between 2009 and 2018 are available on the website for an unlimited period of time.
The Bavarian promulgation platform is operated on behalf of the Bavarian State Chancellery; the Bavarian State Library is responsible for the technical implementation.

The Bavarian Law and Ordinance Gazette (GVBl.) - informational publication of laws and ordinances
On the Bavarian promulgation platform you will find all issues of the Bavarian Law and Ordinance Gazette (GVBl.) since 1945 in electronic form for information purposes and free of charge. The respective standard is linked to the valid version in the citizens' service BAYERN.RECHT. For your research, you can call up individual issues directly or use the search function.
The officially promulgated version of the laws, ordinances and other contents of the GVBl. is still the printed version published by Verlag Bayerische Staatszeitung GmbH.
All legal changes in state law since January 1, 1983 are documented in the so-called continuation records as a positive list and describe all adjustments between the legal status on January 1, 1983 and the law in force today. The basis for this is the Act on the Collection of Bavarian State Law (Bayerisches Rechtssammlungsgesetz - BayRSG) of November 10, 1983 (GVBl. p. 1013) and the associated announcement on the Bavarian Collection of Law of January 22, 1985 (GVBl. p. 11).
The continuations from 1983 to the present are posted on the promulgation platform under the respective year of the Bavarian Law and Ordinance Gazette.
Please note: Due to the databases that now exist, no continuation certificates have been published since 2016.

Administrative regulations and other announcements of the Free State of Bavaria are officially published in electronic form - in contrast to the contents of the Bavarian Law and Ordinance Gazette (GVBl.). The Bavarian Ministerial Gazette (BayMBl.) is officially published in electronic form on the Bavarian Announcement Platform. The announcements in the BayMBl. are published individually as PDF files - usually on Wednesdays.
Since January 1, 2019, the BayMBl. has replaced the Official Gazette of the Bavarian State Government and thus the previous four official and ministerial gazettes (AllMBl., JMBl., FMBl. and KWMBl.).
